Principal’s Message

Dear Takhini Elementary School Families,

I have never seen a community support its local school the way the Takhini community does, and I mean that sincerely. I look forward to continuing as principal for a second year; being part of this school community brings me joy, happiness, excitement, and a passion for making a difference in the lives of our learners and their families throughout their educational journey.

We are partners in this together, and our continued collaboration in supporting our most important resource—our children—is what drives me each day. It fuels my dedication and commitment to making a meaningful impact in my position as the principal of Takhini Elementary School.

As we move into this next year, our school growth plan is focused on strengthening literacy outcomes, fostering inclusive classroom environments, increasing Southern Tutchone Language, and expanding our extracurricular enrichment programs. We are excited to make progress on these initiatives together.
